Functional studies on blood coagulation

The relevant instrumentations include:

• Laboratories equipped for electrophoretic separation of proteins, Western blotting and ELISA;

• 96-well microplate Fluorimeter (Fluoroskan Ascent FL, ThermoScientific) to monitor the fluorescence intensity over time in 96-well assay plates;

• Spectrophotometer SUNRISE (TECAN), for 96-well microplates;

• Molecular Imager PHAROS FX (Bio-Rad) for the acquisition of images or gels stained with fluorescent or other visible dyes or markers;

• PDQuest 2D advanced software (Bio-Rad) for the analysis and comparison of proteomic maps;

• ExQuest Spot Cutter (Bio-Rad) for the isolation of protein spots, thus enabling the downstream analysis of proteins by mass spectrometry.
