The Tecnopolo of Ferrara is organizing a cycle of four meetings, "Sustainability Fridays", to delve into topics related to the environment and health with a view to sustainable development.
The events, open to the public, will be held at Sala Estense in Ferrara from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM, from June to December 2024.
Objective:
To spread knowledge and promote good practices to mitigate climate change and support a circular economy.
Program:
June 21: Prof. Claudio Trapella presents the project of reusing straw as an economic resource and for the production of "green" products.
September 13: Prof. Daniela Azzolina and Drs. Barbara Fabbri, Chiara Visentin, Elena Marrocchino will present a focus on environmental quality in university classrooms, as part of the ATELIER project for monitoring and improving user well-being.
November 8: Prof. Luisa Pasti will illustrate research on the valorization of marine biomolecules for the development of products beneficial to human health.
December 13: Prof. Peggy Carla Raffaella Marconi will analyze the connection between climate change and infectious diseases, with particular attention to "emerging diseases."
